Chelchele Ethiopia - Filter Coffee 

Chelchele is one of the most celebrated washing stations in Gedeb, located at 2,100 meters above sea level near Worka Town. Known for its pristine processing methods and unique terroir, this station has built a reputation for producing some of the most exceptional coffees from Ethiopia.

Cherries are sourced from approximately 170 smallholder farmers, each cultivating on plots ranging from 0.5 to 2 hectares. The farms’ proximity to the station ensures that no harvest travels more than 40 minutes, preserving freshness and quality. Through meticulous handpicking, 72 hours of fermentation, careful washing, density grading, and slow 10-day drying, only the finest beans are selected to create an extraordinary cup.
