Orange Wush Wush - Columbia - Filter Coffee 250G
From the forests of the Andes in Colombia, this rare Wush Wush variety is grown at 2,000 meters on Las Marías, the family estate of 1959 cafe. Run by third-generation producer José Giraldo, whose family has grown coffee for over fifty years, Las Marías is devoted to rare and exotic varieties and is one of the very few farms in Colombia with the orange-striped Wush Wush.
José processed this lot himself, starting with 120 hours of anaerobic fermentation before slow drying on African-style raised beds, pausing the drying midway to deepen its natural fermentation and complexity.
The result is a bright, expressive cup with sweet strawberry, juicy pineapple, and a lift of fresh orange zest, framed by tropical freshness, a delicate floral aroma, and a clean, rounded body.
